Driving Directions

North on Interstate 101
Take 80 East. Then take the 4th Street Exit. Take a left on Bryant, a left on Third and a left on Howard. Moscone Center is located at Fourth and Howard streets.

Via the Bay Bridge
Take the Fremont Street Exit to Howard Street and turn left on Howard. Moscone Center is located at Fourth and Howard streets.

Via the Golden Gate Bridge
Take the Lombard Street exit to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness. Travel south to Grove. This will be approximately two miles. Turn left on Grove Street. Continue to Market Street. Cross Market Street and travel south on 8th Street to Folsom. Turn left on Folsom, left on Third and left on Howard. Moscone Center is located at Fourth and Howard streets.

From the Airports

Directions from San Francisco International Airport:
The BART station is located in the SFO International (Intl) Terminal. Getting to BART is easy. From terminal Three (3), it's a five minute walk through to BART and a 10 minute walk from Terminal One (1). You can also take Airtrain from the terminals directly to the BART station. International passengers should turn right upon leaving the customs area and follow the signs to the escalator going up to the BART station. The fare is $5.15 one way and the average trip is about 30 minutes to the Powell Street Station, which is the closest station to Union Square hotels. The Montgomery Street station is the closest station to Moscone Center, the San Francisco Marriott and surrounding hotels. The Embarcadero station is in the financial district.

Directions from Oakland Airport:
Procced to the AirBART stop on the traffic island and take the AirBART shuttle to the Coliseum station. Upon boarding deposit $2 in the AirBART shuttle fare box. Purchase your San Francisco BART ticket ($3.15 one way) upon entering the station. Proceed upstairs and take a San Francisco bound train. The average trip takes about 30 minutes to the Powell Street exit, which is closest station to Union Square hotels. The Montgomery Street station is the closest station to Moscone Center, the San Francisco Marriott and surrounding hotels. The Embarcadero station is in the Financial District.

Public Transportation

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train to downtown San Francisco is highly recommended. The service is easy, fast and very inexpensive and trains depart every 20 minutes from both San Francisco (SFO)and Oakland (OAK) airports. Disembark at the Powell Street station. Exit to 4th and Market Streets. Turn right on 4th Street. Walk two blocks south to Howard Street. Moscone Center at Fourth and Howard streets.
